2026 Cannabis Industry Rules & Regulations
Changes to rules and regulations for the cannabis industry go into effect January 1, 2026. Our goal is not to create chaos or panic buying, but to keep our customers up to date on the upcoming changes and how they may impact the products you enjoy.
We understand that some of these new guidelines create more confusion than clarification. We are educating ourselves on the changes we will have to implement and how best to comply with them beginning January 1, 2006. Dosage Limits for Edibles
· Per Serving: Maximum 15 mg THC.
· Per Package: Maximum 300 mg THC (no more than 20 servings at 15 mg each).
Additional Product-Specific Limits
Beverages: For beverages, the maximum allowed potency for HDC beverages is 15 mg per serving, with a limit of two servings per can. Multi-serving beverage containers must be resealable.
Cartridges (Vapes): Maximum 40 servings; ≤ 500 mg THC per cartridge.
Hemp Flower: No more than ½ oz per package.
Smokeless Pouches: Maximum 15 pouches per tin; 6 mg THC per pouch.
THCA Redefined
THCA is now included in total THC calculations.
Any product exceeding 0.3% total THC (including THCA) is illegal.THCA flower and products above the threshold may not be sold or possessed.
Points of Sale & Transaction Rules
Products may only be sold in licensed, age-restricted (21+) establishments such as licensed hemp shops, or on-premise alcohol venues.
Products must be kept behind a physical barrier (not necessarily behind the counter). Beverages in 21+ venues may remain shelf-accessible.
Sales must be in-person only. Online sales, shipping, delivery, vending machines, and self-checkout are prohibited.
